Introducing the Kraftech X-Calibre™! This robotic plasma coping machine offers a versatile solution, performing layout marking, scribing, four-side processing, cutting holes, coping, slotting, weld preparations, miters, and bevels—all in a single unit.
The Kraftech X-Calibre™ can process most structural steel profiles, including up to 1200 mm (48”) I-beams, up to 400 x 400 mm (18 x 18”) RHS and SHS, up to 380 mm (15”) PFC, and 200 x 200 mm (10 x 10”) angles. It also features customizable in- and outfeed conveyor lengths to accommodate various part length requirements.

The Kraftech X-Calibre™ is outfitted with advanced lasers and sensors, enabling it to adapt seamlessly to real-world conditions. Our cutting software generates programs in just minutes, while the system scans beams to assess their position, size, and orientation. This allows for precise adjustments to cutting programs, ensuring unmatched accuracy, making the X-Calibre™ one of the most precise machines available today.
USER-FRIENDLY
SOFTWARE
With an easy-to-use interface, most designers and draftsmen will quickly become familiar with the nesting software layout. Minimal programming is required to create your part program using the Kraftech X-Calibre’s™ built-in nesting software. Simply upload a 3D CAD model, and robot pathways will be generated in minutes. Automatic pathways can be created using DSTV-NC files, allowing you to load your program onto the system and let the Kraftech X-Calibre™ do the rest.
MINIMISED REWORK
State-of-the-art non-contact laser sensing is integrated to compensate for mill tolerance deviations and beam location. This integration reduces rework, avoids unnecessary errors, and enhances reliability and durability, as there are no moving wear parts.
Enhanced Safety
The machine features a safety-interlocked front door with a viewing window, safety scanners at the infeed and outfeed entrances, and sensors surrounding the robots’ working space—all designed in accordance with safety standards, making it one of the safest beamline machines globally.
